Dual Credit Courses

Through our academic partnerships with USC Salkehatchie and Denmark Technical College, qualified students can earn fully transferable university credits while satisfying core high school requirements.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Parental permission is required for students to sign up for dual credit course.
  • Students must have a 3.0 GPA.
  • Receive permission from the teacher who teaches that subject/subject area and Head of School.

Honors & Distinctions

Valedictorian and Salutatorian designations are awarded to seniors with the highest cumulative weighted GPA. To qualify for senior honors, a student must be enrolled in the school for at least four semesters prior to graduation.

Academic Policies & Procedures

1. Kindergarten Requirements

Children must be 5 years old by September 1st to enroll in Kindergarten.

Parent-teacher conferences are encouraged. Parents and teachers are asked to request these conferences after school hours. Arrangements should be made at least one day in advance.

In the case of students who fail one or more subjects, promotion from grades 1 through 11 willbe determined by satisfactory summer instruction at parents' expense and at an accreditedinstitution. Summer instruction must be suitable in length and scope to the satisfaction of theHead of School.

Since reading, mathematics and English form the core around which knowledge is formed, thesethree essential courses must be passed to enable students to pass his/her grade.
